100 Non-Profits to Receive New Toyota Vehicles in 2012

During 2011, Toyota managed to give away a new Toyota to 100 different non-profit groups in the US with its "100 Cars for Good" program. It goes without saying that the project was a big hit with non-profits, local communities, and everyday Toyota fans alike. Toyota Uses No-Production Days to Give Back

Toyota feels that when coping with below-normal production levels, it's better to take a glass-half-full approach. As such, the Japanese automaker isn't sitting back leaving their employees to sit idly by consumed by worry. Rather, they're supporting, and even paying, employees to take time on no-production days to lend a helping hand with a variety of community service efforts.
